Saturday, April 27th: S’WET™ DEEP Instructor Training

• 11:00 am - 7:00 pm: The S’WET™ DEEP Instructor Training is a full day of intensive education and practical learning specifically designed to revamp and reinvigorate your deep water aquatic fitness teaching skills! The 8-hour day includes interactive lectures, demonstrations, group exercises and in-pool workouts to help you teach deep water classes using appropriate equipment and exercises for suspended work. With S'WET™ DEEP, you'll learn how to train smarter, not harder, by harnessing the buoyancy and resistance of the water to optimize your workouts. The certification provides you with a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively structure your deep water training sessions to achieve maximum results for all fitness levels.

WHAT YOU'LL GET: Upon completion of this instructor training, you will be able to:

• Teach safe, effective and challenging deep water classes that integrate the S’WET™ formula designed for suspended work.
• Utilize and understand various equipment options designed specifically for deep water exercise.
• Associate yourself with a leading brand in the aquatic fitness industry with a one-year license to use the S’WET™ name and logo on your class schedules to market your business.
• Receive a Certificate of Completion valid for one year with the option to renew annually.

****  PLEASE REVIEW THE BELOW PREREQUISITES FOR THIS EVENT BEFORE YOU REGISTER **** 

While we encourage everyone to join us in the pool, this Instructor Training is designed specifically for instructors with previous aquatic fitness teaching experience. Deep water training is not required but certainly encouraged.

The training program requires a base-line education and understanding of the properties and principles behind aquatic fitness, as well as a firm grasp of the terminology and general exercises used to design a safe and effective workout. We highly encourage you to be educated and certified by an accredited aquatic fitness body like the AEA/ATRI, SCW, Wave Makers, or US Water Fitness, and retain AFAA/ACE/ACSM/NASM as a base with aqua continuing education. Note: You DO NOT have to be current with these certifications, so long as you have previously been trained.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old to become certified or host an instruction program
• Must be CPR/AED Certified​
• Must possess a level of fitness to teach a one hour high-energy class on land (deck) and in water
• Must obtain/maintain your own general or professional liability/insurance policy if not already covered by your facility or gym.
• You must also be passionate about our mission to change the perception of aquatic fitness.

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds will be issued for all registrations should the event be cancelled for any reason by the host or Jenni Lynn Fitness. All other refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

* HOTELS:  Lodging information: April 26-28, 2024 (rates all in per room per night)

• Studio: 1 Night ($325) 2 Nights ($215) - The studio homes have a king bed and queen sleeper sofa 
• 1 Bedroom: 1 Night ($405) 2 Nights ($265) - The one-bedroom homes have a king or queen bed, twin bed in the bedroom, and queen or two twin sleepers in the living room 
• 2 Bedroom: 1 Night ($485) 2 Nights ($325)

* PARKING: Please enter through the main entrance and take a left. Go to your first stop sign and the pool will be located on your left. You may park in the pool parking lot. If there is no space available, you may park at the FunZone 2.0- which is located around the corner of the pool. There are signs directing folks to this location.

* TOWELS/LOCKERS: Towels are NOT provided. We have locks available.

* FOOD: We have a store and restaurants on site/nearby. We will be in our off season, so packing lunch might be a good idea.

* MISC: The lecture will be taking place in the yurt located directly behind the pool. This is your meeting spot.
